| Use your Paths Challenge:- is to walk all
footpaths in England and Wales . OS maps divide the
country into 1km x 1km grid squares and the RA want all
the paths in every grid square walked by RA Groups. We have 397 Grid Squares in the borough of which 9 are completely bare of footpaths, 389 have been completed and 60 promised so that leaves 46 to do. Paul Wright (our Footpaths Secretary) is acting as co-ordinator for the Taunton Deane squares and hope that when you have completed any squares, you will let him know. We don't mind what order you do them in or whether any grid square is done more than once. However if you want to know which squares have not been walked then look at the grid below which will tell you what squares are still unwalked in the area, or contact Paul (01823 667554 or email paule.wright@virgin.net.) |
