The Big Path Watch

The Big Path Watch was carried out by the ramblers during 2016. The objectives were that volunteers were to walk every footpath in England.

Obviously there are some issues with using untrained volunteers in that we got their view of whether a gate was locked, a stile impassable or a path overgreen. I am sure you will not agree with some classifications but the information gives a view of what the public think about our footpath network.
