Start at Bretoneux Road, free parking.

Walk to the end of the road and turn left. Go through the opening onto the road and turn left up the steep hill.

At the top cross the A361 and turn left and take the first turning to the right into Wellhouse Lane.

Many people collect fresh spring water a little way up this lane.

Take the turning to the Tor on the right before the spring and follow the footpath up the Tor.

After enjoying the view go down the steps on the East side and follow the footpath to the road. Turn right and at the junction go straight ahead.

Where the tamac ends turn left and go along the lane past Gog and Magog, two very ancient oak trees and through a gate into a field.

Walk along a line of oaks and then go diagonally left across the field to a stile. Go down, across a foot bridge and up the other side.

When you reach the track go along it straight ahead and then left past Paddington Farm.

Follow the track to the junction.

Go straight ahead at the first junction towards the Tor and right at the next one and go downhill to the A361.

Turn right past Chalice Wells and walk along the raised pavement until just before the mini round a bout.

Cross the road with care and walk down a footpath past the Rural Life Museum which has a café. Make your way downhill until you get back to Bretoneux Road.
